Sharing the Gospel is something that all Christians should do. It was the last words of the Lord Jesus… his last command… his last commission… the GREAT Commission.
How do we share the Gospel? The best way is just simply start a conversation. That’s what Jesus did. When he met the Samaritan woman at the well he started a conversation about water. It didn’t take him long to segue into a conversation about the Gospel.
The Gospel is simply that Jesus died for the sins of the world and he will save anyone who will call on his name.
There is a great Acrostic using the word “Gospel” that will make it easy to remember and easy to share the Gospel with anyone who will listen.
God created us to be with him Psalm 100:3 “Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.”
Our Sins separate us from God Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”
Sins cannot be removed or erased by our good deeds Isaiah 64:6 “But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.”
Titus 3:5 “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;”
Paying the Price of our Sins, Jesus died, was buried and rose again. Romans 5:8 “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Everyone who will trust him and call on his name will have Eternal Life John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Life with Jesus starts the moment you trust him and lasts forever John 17:3 ” And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.”
